Comment or critique this, I'm not bothered which. This poem is dedicated to my best friend, she's been through a lot recently and I owe her a lot, a hell of a lot. You guys may think you know her wellish, but until you've actually met her you'll probably never truly understand how amazing she really is. Anyhow, enough of my blabbing. Enjoy. Somehow.

Silently suffering all the while.
She always manages to hit the ground running,
Her instincts are intense and cunning.
She knows and understands her truth,
Her airs gives off a vibe of being aloof.
She sacrifices her needs for those of others,
But with who they really are she never bothers.
She has known true happiness,
She has somehow survived real sadness.
She is sweet, yet strong willed,
Long ago her innocence was killed.
But she's not trying to get it back,
She approaches each situation with kindness and tact.
She doesn't dwell on pain, it's part of her armour,
What doesn't kill her makes her stronger.
Her young eyes have seen so much,
Yet she continues to reach for another's touch.
She can be innocent and shy,
At other times, dangerous and sly.
She has an ability to male you feel like everythings will be ok,
Even when she's not sure it'll be a great day.
She never asks for a single thing,
But she's always grateful for whatever you bring.
She inspires all to do their best,
And leads by example, by doing nothing less.
She is the fragile girl, yet the strong young woman - a truer beauty you will never find.
She is the perfect example to all mankind!
